If your reel uses a clamp, chances are BACKBONE has a clamp for your reel. A unique universal mounting design fits almost any reel available with one of two sizes of BACKBONE reel clamps. The BH-300 series is sized to fit larger reels by Penn, Pro Gear and Newell, as well as Avet JX and LX reels. The BH-200 is sized to fit most other Penn, Pro Gear and Newell reels, as well many Accurate, Shimano, Daiwa and Okuma models.

What about mounting hardware? More often than not, the manufacturer supplied hardware for your reel is all you need. But, if you have lost your original hardware, didn't get it with your reel or it otherwise will not fit, BACKBONE has you covered. We sell custom quality chrome-plated brass hardware kits that finish the job for you.

A BH-40 kit consists of bolts, nuts and threaded receivers. New factory Penn and Shimano hardware may be substituted for this kit, but you'll need it if you lost yours or cannot find any to purchase. You'll also need it if you have the old Penn metal/wing nut mount or a Daiwa with the newer metal style reel clamp.

A BH-30 kit provides a pair of threaded receivers that you will need for Accurate reels and for Pro Gear reels that came with hex-headed bolts.

A BH-20 kit supplies the bolts you will need for all Newell models.

A BH-10 kit supplies the bolts you will need for some Daiwa models.

If you do not see your reel listed here, this does not necessarily mean that a BACKBONE reel clamp will not fit your reel.
